Perfect for my beach trip. Brim is just the right width to cover my face. It is a stylish hat and easy to pack without losing its shape. I love being able to keep it snug on my head when the wind is blowing. Looks great.

I recently bought this hat for a week-long trip to Arizona, and it is a wonderful purchase! The hat got folded up and shoved in a very packed purse on the plane, and it looked a little crumpled when I pulled it out many hours later, but lo, overnight it went back to its shape, and it's perfect again, without any steaming or shaping! It's just the right weight, and a true, sturdy chin strap (needed up in the mountains, or I would have had it blow away). It was also (accidentally) worn in the pool and one side of the brim did get weight, but no bleeding/no stain, and no impact from the water.I have a pretty large head (a lot of 'large' size headgear is still too small.) I did buy this in the large size: this hat fit just right! For those with slightly smaller but still large noggins, there is a velcro adjustment. I've bought several hats on Amazon in the previous couple of years: most turned out to be useful for a week or so, but then the sewing gives out or the straw starts fraying, they look crumpled after one trip, and they turn out to be more Halloween costume style than a true hat... not this item!The hat is well made, actually packable, medium weight, with a real drawstring and it's flattering! I was so impressed that when I got home I bought it in another color. I'll note that the beige color is perhaps a bit thinner/lighter than the mixed black color, which is appropriate for very hot weather gear, but it's as well made as my first purchase.I cannot find any flaw in this hat, perhaps the hatband/chinstrap could be made with a slightly thinner cord, but that is my only, very weak, suggestion for improvement. Just buy it, I think you'll really like it!"

I purchased this for a recent trip to the Bahamas. The brim is just the right size offering plenty of protection from the sun. The color was beautiful and the material was very nice. I was able to fold it up. It packed away my suitcase without it leaving lasting marks. I order a small medium and it still is a little bit big.

This is a great hat! I bought this one and a different visor-style hat for a recent trip because both had great reviews. This one was actually my favorite! I folded it into a fourth and packed it in my carry-on (basically folded it in half, pressed it flat, then folded it in half again, so the whole thing was a bit of a triangle shape). I had no idea if folding it like this would ruin it, but it returned to normal shortly after unpacking! I got it wet several times during the trip, and it dried quickly each time. I loved the chin strip, though I did flip it over the top and let it rest behind my neck most of the time because I wasn’t in a windy environment. It fit well and kept the sun off my shoulders. I burned my scalp using the other visor hat early in my trip, and I was so grateful to have this one for much better sun protection. Not to mention, it was so cute and went well with all my swim and beach attire. Highly recommend!

My facorite hat for walking, gardening or just being outside in the heat of the sun!It was easy to adjust and comfortable. The brim protects your face without making it difficult to see ahead or look down while walking!It looks great and I know I’ll be buying more for birthday presents.

I bought this for a beach vacation but returned it before leaving. It is super cute, five stars for that part. But the brim is relatively short, so unless you have a small nose, it won’t give you enough coverage. I need full coverage of my nose as I burn very easily. I tried both the medium and a large, hoping the large would give me the needed sun shade. But it didn’t and it was just too loose and covered too much of my eyes. If you don’t burn easily and you’re just looking for something fashionable, or if you’re blessed with a pixie nose, it probably would work for you.

I love this hat. It fits with hair and good quality.
