I am enjoying this mat for focused relaxation, the heat function works wonders! Still exploring the PEMF. While heavy, it is not too much for me and well worth the quality and sturdiness of the mat.

To be effective, you need at least 15 gauss, preferably 30. The penetration of this pemf mat doesn’t exceed more than about an inch, so it’s not capable of reaching deep tissue.Hi Jennifer,There are 6 PEMF cores/generators inside the mat that deliver approximately 10 Gauss of powerful therapeutic PEMF benefits. The 6 pcs PEMF cores and heating elements run on a very safe zone of between 0.2 and 0.8 milligauss for EMF emissions (Generally accepted as safe is less than 2.0 milligauss).The PEMF functionality cycles on and off, it is 20 minutes on, 40 minutes off for 5 cycles.
