It’s cashew Butter
I’m not complaining, but it’s cashew butter.

Fantastic for coffee!
1 tbs of Cashew milk concentrate blended in 20oz of coffee is not only delicious but a much healthier alternative to half/half. That being said, it’s expensive for a 15oz jar. I’ve switched to another brand that’s 16oz for less money….oh well.

Delicious Alternative
I love this product. I was looking for cashew powder to make milk but they all have maltodextrin which elevates blood glucose. This one is a paste. You mix with water, allowing for fresh cashew milk anytime I need it without worrying about it spoiling. I do like non dairy milks but most have a lot of fillers. I was looking for something a bit cleaner. Tastes good. I use in a variety of ways including smoothies, dressings and sauces. I mix it in a magic bullet or Vitamix with purified water.

Might be user error but brother this Sucked
I should have played around with this more but honestly I just felt like I was making a sticky bitter mess in the kitchen and did not want to continue. Maybe the packaged nut milks from the store have oils and sugars and are processed with additives that make it taste delicious, and not grainy and disgusting? This made me appreciate silk brand nut milks so much

Love the convenience and taste
I have used this cashew milk concentrate for several years and I love everything about it: the convenience and the taste. I love that I don’t always have to have refrigerated nutmilk on hand. I can mix up how much I need, when I need it. It makes my smoothies so creamy!

Don't order this product when insects are out and about!
*Taste? OK.*Blends in Magic Bullet? Great!*Delivery left outside of my residence? Major fail! Ants entered the awesomely- cushioned box, past the seal, and into the cashew product. I had to refrigerate the jar, then pick out dead ants. I MAY order more from Joi, but not during any months that have active critters hungry for the product. Maybe the Joi folks could think of a better way to ship or package their product?

Great product for a milk substitute
I can't have regular cow's milk so I was looking for milk substitutes. Bottom line, virtually all such products on the market like almond milk and even pre-blended cashew milk and coconut milk all have so much other stuff added to the mix like flavorings and preservatives and other additives. JOI cashew base is nothing but cashews. Period. It blends with water in thirty seconds and has a pleasing neutral taste that you can enhance with your own sugar and/or natural flavorings. I just drink it plain. You can adjust the consistency of the blend with more product or less water. NOTE: the downside is once it's blended what you don't use right away doesn't last in the fridge for more than a day maybe two tops. It goes bad quickly so I just blend the amount I need and use it immediately.

Overly Priced
The flavor is great. However there are a few things I dislike.1. The packaging is plastic instead of the glass container from the picture, it’s a mismatch between the description and the actual product.2. Even after high power blending for 1 minute to making about two cups of creamer, the mixture separates and there is a thick layer of nut deposits at the bottom; if I used the mixture right after blending, there is a gritty texture in my coffee.3. The suggested usage of 2 table spoons with 1 cup of water actually yields a very diluted creamer, I had to use at least 3 tablespoons for 1 cup of water to get it creamy enough for coffee.4. Due to reason #3, I don’t get a good value out of the product, I can only use the whole tub for about 18-20 cups of coffee, and that’s at least $1 additional for the creamer for every cup of coffee I drink. Not worth it.There was a previous comment about this product being a very expensive nut butter, I have to agree with this, with the content and nutritional value in the container, a similar organic nut butter product would only cost a fraction of the price. I even tried blending another much cheaper organic nut butter from local grocery store to see if I get similar results, and I did actually achieve the same result with a lot less I paid. That being said, I won’t recommend this product.
