Favoto Diesel Transfer Pump 38mm Diameter Stainless Steel Electronic Kerosene Water Extractor for DC12V Car SUV

Used this an hour ago for the first time. As soon as I turned it on, the bottom part of the base came apart sending water everywhere. What a piece of cheap useless... metal and plastic this is. Even though I bought this a while ago to use in a project I was building, Im still after a full refund. I shall pay extra and get a better quality one.UPDATE : Contacted Favoto (seller) and said the base blew out and I wanted a refund. I am afraid my review isn't... all that friendly but my review on the seller is as follows :E-mail sent to Favoto. Explained pump is unsuitable. Lovely E-mail came back stating they would refund the pump and then send a new one. I now have 2 pumps free. I guess the second pump was a complimentary one for the inconvenience. It doesn't fall apart so it seems my first one was just at fault. I give Favoto customer services a full 10/10 for this. I wish all sellers operated in this fashion. Thank you Favoto customer services :)

Worked really well, for about 5 minutes. Then sound changed and it stopped pumping. Pulled it out and found it had dismantled itself and dropped its insides into the distant bottom of the heating oil tank where they will probably remain forever.Probably the most disappointing purchase I've ever made.Can't say every pump will behave like this one, but if you do buy it take extra steps to secure the filter etc to the body of the pump before you use it in any situation where detached bits are hard to retrieve!.We're back to transferring heating oil from spare tank to main tank with a hand pump!

Could not believe the quality of this for the price. Much cheaper than anything I could find in a caravan shop. Spare impellor and an inline switch and probably the longest cable I have had on any accessory. Surprised how powerful the pump is and practically silent.Would definitely buy again and will probably get another just as a spare.

OMG this little pump is brilliant. Prompt delivery in post. It makes easy work of emptying the 1000l water tank. I have to transport water to my sheep field. I fill one 1000l tank in my trailer then take it to the other in the field and transfer the water with the pump. Its made it half the job that it was before. I had to buy an extension for the 12v cable, cost me £7 but now I can easily reach either of the two 12v sockets in my truck giving me the perfect set up for the job. I love this little pump !! xx

It costs almost nothing. It should be cheap and nasty. It isn’t. Very high quality, solidly made, stainless bodied pump. Long, thick flex with inline switch. Box shows crocodile clip contacts but it actually has a cigar lighter/accessory socket plug. Pumps well and quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending it. Instructions are shockingly bad but it is intuitive and you don’t need them. They are written in broken English and appear to suggest you can use it to pump volatile fuels, eg petrol. Obviously, you can’t unless you wish to incinerate yourself.

Excellent product with one problem, make sure you secure the filter attachment at the bottom of the pump “ the part that the filter screws into” as this fell of mine when I first used it and was unable to retrieve it. It is only a push fit this is why it fell of the pump.One very small screw will resolve this issue just make sure screw does not foul the pump impeller.

Great little pump. Used it to drain heating oil out of a tank. It pumped against a 2m head, though a bit slower than rated. Much faster against a smaller head. Build quality is not strong. When I pulled the hose off it came apart. It went back together again and still worked. Just be gentle with it and it will be fine. For £8 I'm very happy.

Used it to pump heating oil from barrels into tank. Worked very well. Could be improved with a non return valve to prevent siphoning back. Would also like to see a choice of 12V plug or clamps for use with a battery. Car socket not always available.

usata per travasare acqua. la prima volta ha funzionato bene , con alimentazione 12v da una batteria auto.la seconda volta appena partita si è aperta perdendo fondo e becco di mandata, a causa della grossa pressione esercitata.rimediato incollando i fondelli e usando un alimentatore da muro che genera una tensione ridotta a circa 6 volt. così funziona con pressione ridotta ed è possibile anche regolare o chiudere la mandata . ottima pompa ma costruita in modo assai spartano, manca un aggancio tra il corpo in alluminio e i fondelli.

Funzionale. Usata per riempire acquario prelevando acqua da tanica di 20 litri e molto velocemente.Filtro smontabile.Preleva a 1,5 metri altezza. Sicuramente si puo' andare oltre. Collegato ad alimentatore acquistato su Amazon 12vcc 3A 36w (garanzia tedesca).

L’ho comprato per travasare circa 30 litri di acqua per circa 1,5 mt di altezza, quando l’ho visto non ero fiducioso, è piccolo e poco ingombrante. Invece ha funzionato benissimo, oltre le mie previsioni, in un minuto circa aveva aspirato tutto. Comodissimi i 4 mt di filo e l’interruttore per accendere e spegnere senza dover staccare la spina dall'interruttore 12V. Consigliato.

Per il momento funziona alla perfezione, ho collegato la pompa ad una doccia portatile e svolge egregiamente il suo lavoro, spero duri nel tempo e Non abbia infiltrazioni d'acqua.

non ha la forza per il olio a un metro di distanza nel raggio di 20 cm si va bene mas piu di un metro non pompa piu.. soldi buttati

A durado una vez, se uso para pasar 60 litros de agua de un bidon a otro, a la semana se intento usar y ya no funciono. Vamos que no vale la pena comprar esta bomba
