Disocnnecting DC plugs is very easy.Solar panels need an MC4 to DC adapter. To mate with a power station. That DC plug adapter is usually about 6 feet long, leaving it outside and exposed.When the sun goes down, I unplug that DC plug near the panel, and slip an endcap on. That will help keep the plug from being exposed to rain, humidity and dew.The next day, slip the cap off, and plug in the cable from the power station in a snap.This size fits a DC 7909 male plug.
