Korean Anua Skincare Set
This is a set of skin care products from Anua. Two cleansers and a serum. Though two cleansers may seem like over kill it helps ensure you get all the makeup, sunscreen etc. and have a fresh face. This Korean set also includes a serum. I ran the ingredients list thru a checker and it scored a 3 for potential comedogenic ingredients and a 2 for potential fungal acne ingredients. The price point seems reasonable too.Serum ingredients:ter, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Diethoxyethyl Succinate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Arbutin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Alpha-Arbutin, Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract, Eclipta Prostrata Extract, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Chamaecyparis Obtusa Leaf Extract, Prunus Persica (Peach) Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil, Yeast Ferment Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Artemisia Princeps Leaf Extract, Candida Bombicola/Glucose/ Methyl Rapeseedate Ferment, Hyaluronic Acid, Pentylene Glycol, Betaine Salicylate, Sucrose Palmitate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Gellan Gum, Sodium Phytate, Cellulose, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Panthenol, Cyanocobalamin, Polyglutamic Acid, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Ceramide NP, Dextrin, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, Dimethylsilanol Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Potassium Hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate Dimethylsilanol, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum.

Fantastic set, skincare made easy, just add moisturizer.
I have seen this Korean skincare brand around for a while now but have yet to try anything from them, so I was excited to order this 3-Step Glass Skin Beginner Set from Anua. This set includes Heartleaf Cleansing Oil, Heartleaf Cleansing Foam and Niacinamide 10 TXA 4 Serum. These are all regular size items, not travel size. The cleansing oil- after discovering cleansing oils last year, I became a big fan, and this one has quickly become one of my favorites. It contains more than a 1/2 dozen botanical oilswhich not only work as cleansers, but also provide plenty of hydration and antioxidant support. It glides beautifully across the skin and feels simply lovely to use, plus it does a fantastic job of removing my light foundation. It does contain fragrance, and even though that's not my preference I suspect it's in there to neutralize the odors of all the other ingredients. What makes this a standout for me is that it contains sorbeth-30 tetraoleate, which helps the oils to rinse off of the skin more cleanly. Since I have rosacea, I also love that this the product contains heartleaf oil, which my skin adores for its soothing properties. The cleansing foam- normally I avoid foaming cleansers because they feel too harsh for my dry sensitive skin, but this cleanser is different. It's the gentlest foaming cleanser I've ever used. My skin does not squeak when I rinse it, nor does it feel the least bit dry after, so I know that it's not stripping any oils or damaging the barrier layer. It foams up beautifully and feels soft and silky on the skin. It contains 7 different forms of hyaluronic acid for multi-depth hydration and very mild surfactants, so it's not surprising how hydrated and soft my skin feels after using it.The serum- this serum has no scent or fragrance added, it's watery and the slightest bit sticky in application. It feels lightweight on the skin and absorbs very quickly. Once absorbed the stickiness goes away, and it just leaves my skin feeling soft, with a little added firmness and bounce. I really love that the third ingredient in this product is niacinimide, because that is one multitasking, hardworking ingredient. It has soothing and antioxidant capabilities, but it also can be helpful with fading hyperpigmentation, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, and smoothing out the skin texture. This formulation is also using tranexamic acid and arbutin to even out the skin tone. It also contains a vitamin c derivative, which is a potent antioxidant, plus it can stimulate collagen production. In addition to all that, this serum also contains seven different forms of hyaluronic acid, so once again, the skin is getting hydrated at multiple levels.I have nothing negative to say at all about these three products, each and every one of them is excellent, and I am enjoying using them. It's only been a few days and already I can see the difference in how healthy and glowing my skin is looking. They are also a fantastic bargain at $45. for all three products, so when I need more it won't traumatize my pocketbook.Highly recommendedMade in Korea

was scared at first but got glass skin the next morning
i selected this item on a whim. glass skin and korean skin care is all the ragethen i got it and i got scaredi've never heard of cleaning my face with oil - this just seems counter intuitive to my already oily and wrecked skinthe instructions were minimal and i didn't quite understand it so i watched some youtube vidoesi've got very sensitive skin and i'm allergic to everything. while searching for youtube videos, i stumbled on some reddit reviews and down a rabbit hole i went. i was worried i'd have break out or skin reactions as there were a handful of reviews that shared their outcome. the product does have a scent to it and that added to my hesitation.with dry skin and hands, i rub the oil into my skin (i used this time to also use my guasha tool - why waste the oil)i could feel my skin tingle (not in a bad way, but definitely got my spidey senses going).i washed it away with the foam cleanser - my skin was really smoothi have minimal pores to begin with so didn't notice much difference there BUT i started to see the "glass"then i put the serum - and it burned a little and i got scared. it didn't last long, i put some lotion on top and off to bedi woke up the next morning and my skin definitely had the glass look - which is surprising that it worked overnighthave i used it again - not yet. i wash my face only in the shower and i keep forgetting to do the oil cleanse before i hop in there. would i use this again. sure. why not. my skin was fine so yay there.the price point is fair for these 3 products.i wanted to dock a star because of how my skin reacted - the tingle/slight burn - but then the next day, i got the results that it advertised so i guess that's part of the process?
