Great gift for any occasion!
Recently bought this wireless CarPlay adapter & was delightfully pleased with the effortless connectivity and gorgeous display that blends into my dash without me having to tear everything apart to make it fit! I have tried a few other options before this one & none compared. It is well worth the money & I would recommend this to anyone trying to find a easy solution to their connection problems when it comes to AirPlay products!

Android Auto works well. Touch screen is responsive, audio is fine. Instructions could be better.
Admittedly, I was not expecting much from this device. I got it primarily because my older 2011 car does not have much of an entertainment center and no ability to use Android Auto. I use google maps from my phone all the time for GPS, so I have to constantly mount it to the phone holder whenever I drive. I was hoping for another solution. This works very well as an Android Auto monitor. I don't have an iPhone, so I can't comment on Apple CarPlay. With Android Auto, you tap on the app, which prompts you to connect via Bluetooth. After it's connected, it also connects the phone to the device's wifi and Android Auto starts automatically. Android Auto worked very well, similar to what I'd experienced with it in newer cars with the functionality built-in. The response of the screen is fast enough, the screen is clear and bright and the audio from the device is sufficient to hear the navigation. The device also has a slot for a microSD card and a 64GB card is provided. The card only seems to be useful for playing music and videos. The device comes with a media center, which lets you access the microSD card for the media files. You can play it all on the device's speakers, but you're probably better off using the Aux or FM radio options to play through your car's speakers. This works, but I'm not likely to watch movies on a 7" screen. The manual for this is not so great. The English is choppy. It's understandable to get you through the setup, but it leaves some info out. Like, how do you disconnect from Android Auto? Because you can't access the other apps on the device while connected to Android Auto. If you click on "Exit" in the Android Auto app, it doesn't actually exit it. If you disconnect via Bluetooth from your phone, it actually turns it back on and reconnects. The only way I could figure out how to end Android Auto is to disconnect your phone from the device's Wifi. There is also an option to mirror the screen from the phone and it requires you to download an app. I'm not about to download another app just to mirror to a screen that's just slightly bigger than my phone screen.Overall, this is a decent device for Android Auto. If that's your primary goal, this would be fine device.

Cool Add-On
Love how much technology has advanced and you can basically add any type of electronic to an otherwise older model car.
