This dress is adorable on my granddaughter, she loved it. The quality is really good for the price, it is a comfortable item.

I love this dress! I bought this for my nine-year-old daughter, we purchased a medium and it fits her wonderfully. The belt is attached with velcro. The crown jewels actually fell out, but once I super glued them in we never had that problem again. The crown itself fit a little awkwardly until I tied a knot in it to help it fit my daughter's head tighter. I really like the look of the crown actually, although I know not everyone will agree with me. The dress itself is made out of a nice heavy fabric that lays very nicely. The sleeves are awesome and my daughter does not complain of it being uncomfortable or itchy. The color is beautiful and the fabric is soft. I highly recommend getting this dress if your daughter wants to dress up like a Renaissance princess!

Love the dress! My daughter was Merida for Halloween. The dress fit great except for the length. I had to pin it up to shorten it for her. But because the material is stretchy, she will fit in it until she is 11 or 12. She is currently almost 8. She normally wears a 5/6. I am personally 4’11” and the length is perfect for me. The waist is much too small for my adult figure, but would have fit perfectly at 11. There was enough room for her to wear layers underneath, which is necessary where we live. The gold belt was much too large for her for now, but that was perfectly ok, because Merida doesn’t have the gold belt anyway. She had me wear the belt with my costume and the crown, because she requested that I be Queen Elenor, Merida’s mom. She will also get to use this dress for Renaissance Fairs as well. Yay!

I talked my daughter into being a medieval queen for Halloween because of this dress, and I am glad she agreed. It looks lovely and is warmer than most little girl costumes, although she was glad of the cape from our dress up box. We bought a small and it fit her well. It's well made and soft without any itchy parts. The draping sleeves are lovely and the painted gold flowers around the neck even have little white details. She is almost 7 and fairly tall for her age, but super thin. (She can still wear 4T or 5T dresses as shirts.)It is definitely designed for a slender build which worked out well for us. That said, theee is some stretch to the fabric so I think it should fit next year as well. It is slightly long so she had to pick up the bottom a bit, but she had no problem running around the Halloween festival in it. The only complaint was the ribbon belt tended to ride up and both it and the crown must be made the same size for all the size dresses. The Velcro is long on the belt so we could get a little to overlap but it left really big flaps sticking out either end, and the crown wouldn't even stay up on her 8-year-old brother whose head has always been big. It fits me fine, though. We went with an inexpensive bridal headpiece for a crown, but you could stitch a flap in the elastic to shorten it and use it for small heads.

The material is good quality and omg my expectations were surpassed. great buy highly recommended. my daughter is size medium but got a large this fit perfect she’s only 8 going on 9 years old.

It looks nice, it’s not overly itchy. I bought it a little large and it will fit well for a long time of costumed play or Halloween fun.

Not full 5 stars- the gems come out of the crown, this is not an acceptable flaw.The belt is very lovely, the seam at the point in the waist center is not well sewn. It started to unravel and fray within the first hour.The quality of fabric, the comfort and overall depth of color saturation is very impressive.The minor issues would not keep me from buying it or any other items this brand has, just would be careful to purchase on sale.My little Queen Esther will be lovely, once I can fix the belt, and secure the gems- permanently.
