Looks good, standard install, seems well made.

So far this has been a pretty good seat. I don't expect it to last forever, my last one lasted 2 years. It feels good and is easy to install. The price is decent too.

This isn't a hyper premium seat, so let's get that out of the way first. The materials are good, and it feels durable enough. Seats are a finicky thing to install, so if you haven't done it it may take a minute. Sitting on it is as pleasant as any other generic seat, but I would say a bit more comfy after the few rides I've done.

I love the width of the seat. Makes for a very comfortable ride. Thick cushion. It looks very nice and fit perfectly replacing my old seat. Easy upgrade for added comfort.

Let's talk criticisms first. The 1990's saddle I removed from my track bike to replace with this Velmia weighs 13 ounces. My other two bikes have 5.5 ounce and 7.2 ounce saddles. This "Superlight" saddle weighs in at 15.5 ounces! Nearly a pound! So I wouldn't refer to it as Super Light, Extremely Light, or anything like that. Now, I no longer race my track bike (Fixed Gear or "Fixie") so weight is no longer a serious factor. And I suppose a lot of riders are perched on much heavier saddles, in fact, outside serious cyclists, it seems many good saddles are in this one-pound or so weight range. One of the best made leather saddles weighs nearly a pound and a half! So I would advise referring to it as a lightweight leisure bicycle saddle. I always examine the construction of items I order. This one exhibits careful and very fine workmanship. The structure is very accurately installed, the adjustment to the seatpost is made easier with the addition of position numbers along the seat rail. It's a handsome saddle with a very functional and comfortable design. The channel molded into the top relieves pressure where pressure is not wanted. And there's something very attractive in the texture of the fabric, a subdued sheen that adds to the saddle's good looks! Taking it for a short ride confirms the design emphasis on comfort. There's just enough padding to make the ride comfortable but not so much it impedes the work of the upper leg muscles. Cost? It won't break the bank! In fact this is one of the best saddles under 20 bucks that you'll find! I'll give it 4.5 stars!

Seat got bent!!!!

My family has been doing a lot more biking lately, and so we wanted to improve some things. One bike needed a new seat, and one bike was missing a seat entirely. So I ordered this seat to replace the one that could use replacing, and (for now) the bike that was missing the seat got that seat. (We don't use that bike too much, yet.)This seat offers good support throughout, yet has some comfort in the foam. It's a good balance between firm and soft, and I hope it'll last a good, long time. Like another reviewer said, I'd say it's similar in feel to the stock Electra Townie seat (although not leather) -- I happen to have a Townie 7d as my bike, but this went on another bike. I love the Townie seat, so the similarity to it is welcome. It went on the post well (make sure you've got a suitable post or adapter, because this seat does not come with the fittings -- if you don't have what you need to just connect the rails to the seat post, then you'll need either a new seat post or an adapter. This isn't a universal seat replacement. The bike this went on had the correct post attachment already.On the previous seat, we'd used a foam cover, but that has worn down and the neoprene or whatever is in there has moved around over the years, making it lumpy and uncomfortable. This shouldn't have that problem... I hope.As others have mentioned, doesn't seem extremely light, but for a casual rider, on a less expensive bike, this might be a weight improvement (especially if you were using a cover on the seat for comfort -- better to just get the seat you want, I think.)Replacing a bike seat can add longevity to an otherwise good bike, and I think this was a worthwhile upgrade. Hope this helps you make an informed buying decision!

Ich habe sehr viel Sättel ausprobiert, von günstigen bis sehr teuren, dieser Sattel hier ist wirklich sehr bequem und anatomisch korrekt.Aber leider leider musste ich ihn schweren Herzens zurück schicken- er ist leider für mich ein Tick zu breit, bzw. an den Seiten Richtung Gesäß zu Dick , so ca. 6-7 cm. Ich bekomme Schmerzen an den Seiten, denn die sind nicht nach unten abgerundet sondern enden einfach mit harter/ scharfer Kante abrupt beidseitig, was bei langen Touren sehr unangenehm ist und schmerzhaft...Sehr schade, ich dachte ich könnte ihn behalten...

Ich bin kein Profi Fahrradfahrer, aber zwischendurch fahre ich 50-60 km. Mit meiner alte Fahrradsattel fand ich nach 8-10 km die Hüfte tut weh. Also der alte Sattel war nicht Bequem.Neue VELMIA Fahrradsattel ist 100% Wasserdicht, nahtlose und ergonomisch. Ohne gepolsterte Radshorts nach 50km fahrt es tut nicht weh. Der Unterschied kann ich genau merken, daher finde ich den Sattel sehr gut und ich bewerte mit 5 Sterne.Der Montag ist leicht und der Sattel sieht schick aus. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Gern empfehle ich den VELMIA Sattel weiter.

Für mein MTB habe ich einen bequemeren Sattel gesucht. Dieser ist wirklich bisher der bequemste und ließ sich einfach montieren.

Der erste Sattel, bei dem ich nach 40km fast keine Schmerzen empfinde. Und das bei dem Preis. Wenn er jetzt noch 10jahre hält, dann hat er sich bezahlt gemacht
