Excellent Outdoor Emergency Backup generator with Natural Gas
Excellent Outdoor Generator using clean Natural Gas for my Emergency Backup Power needs. Recommended by my HVAC Specialist/Servicer. Chose the WGen11500 over 10500 to provide extra running power at 85% running operation with same weight, DBA noise level. overall footprint, but less THD(Total Harmonic Distortion) for electronics. Should operate smoother with 550cc vs 500cc engine. Easy connection to existing electrical box with Transfer Switch/50Amp plug and existing natural gas line. High quality at a reasonable price. Also runs on Gasoline and Propane if necessary.

A great generator for the price.
We wanted a portable generator that could use multiple fuels, not just gasoline. This is a good product. The price was reasonable, the product is of good quality, and the features are excellent. Hookup to natural gas or propane is quick and easy, and changing from one to the other requires just a turn of a knob. The power produced is more than adequate for keeping vital household equipment operating in an emergency, and the unit provides multiple types of outlets for plugging everything from USB, to 50amp equipment. While not whisper quiet, this generator is far less noisy than our old one. For the features, function, and flexibility, this one is an excellent and cost-effective choice.

This thing is heavy! 240 pounds heavy! and well built.
Very nice generator (aka alternator), especially like the tri fuel as I can run on Natural Gas, Propane or pump gasoline. Starts very easy. Like the remote start/stop option, digital display and battery charger to be sure starting battery is always up and ready to go. This is week one, but seems to be well built and quite durable. Assembly was minimal. Mostly adding the feet and wheels and oil.We live in a suburban area but are prone to power outages and our home is built in a area with many springs that almost constantly cause our sump pit to fill at least once a hour in the dry season and every 15 second in the rainy season. We have a large UPS to supply power to the sump pumps and give us time to get the generator started. With this one we can run the pumps, and our geothermal heat pump as well as several appliance and lighting circuits. This thing is heavy! 240 pounds heavy! Comes shipped on a pallet in a cardboard box via specialized shipper, so be prepared.

Easy set up - so far so good!
Arrived in good condition, easy set up with everything you need included. Added the oil, attached a propane tank, selected the fuel source, pressed the start button and it started right up. I intend to have it plumbed to the natural gas line on my house for easy hook up when needed. It runs a little louder than my previous generator, but it's also about 3 times as powerful and runs on 3 different fuel sources. Compared to other similar models, it seems to be the best rated and most cost effective generator on Amazon. It's great so far - I guess I'll find out more the next time we get hit with a hurricane!

Exceptional Tri-Fuel Powerhouse: Reliable, Versatile, and Built to Last
This generator is truly impressive, particularly its versatile tri-fuel capability, which allows seamless switching between natural gas, propane, or gasoline. My neighbor and I were sold after seeing their identical model in action, prompting us to purchase it. While I haven’t had the chance to put it to the test yet, the standout features like the remote start/stop function, intuitive digital display, and the automatic battery charger give me confidence in its reliability. The build quality is exceptional, sturdy construction with minimal assembly required, mostly involving attaching the wheels, feet, and adding oil. It feels durable and thoughtfully designed for long-term use

GREAT GENERATOR-FREIGHT COMPANY, Not
Bought this specifically for the tri-fuel capability as a house backup generator. Planning on using only propane or municipal natural gas; may never use gasoline in it. Yes, power output is de-rated with propane/LNG, but sufficient for my needs. Also requires no computer, wifi, or weekly “test” wear and tear. Whole house automated generators are very nice in their instant change-over, but in my area, are priced more than I can pay. I’ll invest part of the difference in cost in a 100lb propane tankPositives: remote battery start, wheel kit, surprisingly easy to move around for a 64 year old. Panel has all necessary plugs for using extension cords or twist-loc NEMA for external power receptacle at house for breaker panel installation (next project). A big bonus is to be able to roll this onto a trailer and use it away from home should the need arise. Did that after Hurricane Irene killed power for a week; shuttled my generator at the time to friends/neighbors who needed a few hours electricity to keep refrigerators and freezers cool.Negatives: as far the generator itself, none as yet. I only gave this 4 stars because the freight company cut the side of the robust shipping box and actually managed to bend the frame on the side opposite the control panel. An irritation, to be sure, but hasn’t affected the generator in any way I can tell.

What a savings vs a Generac home unit.
The generator was delivered 2 days before projected delivery. No damages at all. Assembled the unit as directed. Had to have neighbor help on lifting the unit to put the wheels on. I'm 73 so not as strong anymore. Only minor issue was filling the oil, the filler tube needs to be larger. Had issue with loading to much in the filler and had some minor spillage. Hooked in my propane tank and it fired right up. Went on to shut off the main power to the house and switched to the generator. Ran the whole house including the A/C. On the electrical side I had a 50amp circuit, whole house surge protector and a soft-start for the A/C installed. With everything done I spent less than 3K which sure beat a Generac whole house unit.

Westinghouse Generator - great value
Excellent, well built, sturdy and quiet. Great value for the price. Easy to set up and use. Tri-fuel capability makes it easy to use. I set mine up on natural gas.
