Hi, I'm a 38e. Top size 16. I brought and extra large. These are really comfortable and brought for the same reason.

Q: I am 36d and size 14. l or xl? with a larger bust do you get monoboob?

Perhaps you won't get the shape you fear and Xl might be the one you need. This is a very comfortable bra but at the same time it doesn't provide the support of a typical bra so it's ok to wear for yoga.

Personally I’d go for a large. I’m a size 14/16 and 36D and bought xl which fits nicely.
