Ignore the reviews that say this robe is not thick/plush. You have to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and WASH IT BEFORE WEARING to plump it up. The robe came out of the dryer all fluffed up and soft. It is thick and heavy (4.4 pounds for the large), and therefore warm. After reading a lot of reviews, I couldn't decide whether to order the medium or the large. I assumed I wouldn't be able to return it after washing, and figured better too big than too small, so I ordered the large. It is big on me; I had to turn up the sleeves, but it's nice and long and overlaps well at the waist, so I'm satisfied. (I'm 5'7", 150 lbs.)

The robe is heavy but if you like that it's a plus. This also is a delicious, plush, luxurious robe that you will love to wear. The tag said to wash before wearing and that's good advice as after I washed it it became even SOFTER and even more plush. This is like a spa robe but in purple, my favorite color, it's like it was made for me. The robe has a deep collar that rolls up behind to cradle your neck. There are belt loops so the belt stays with the robe even when you untie it. Two deep plush pockets on each side. I cannot say enough good things about this robe - I think I'm in love with it...!The ONLY thing that might be an issue for some people is that it's heavy. It's a really substantial cotton robe. Super absorbent and exactly what I was looking for plus so comfortable and so cozy! The way it hugs your neck... It is heavier than I expected for 100% cotton robe and while the weight of the robe is not a problem for me it's worth mentioning. I look forward to putting this robe on when I come out of the shower. I absolutely love that this is 100% cotton, that its texture keeps the belt belted (it doesn't slip open), that it's made in Turkey with such a terrific quality cotton. In addition to purple for myself I also got green for my husband (who also loves it) and I got another two as special holiday gifts. Everyone loves it. By far, this is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. If a bathrobe could make me happy - this one does exactly that! It's really so good!!!

Has the Terry interior. Better than expected. The guy is fine. Not going on any catwalks for this one. Haven’t washed it yet but for me I’ll be washing it cold and air drying. I don’t want to change a thing about it!! Only 4 stars bc I don’t know about durability / washing yet.

Wife got me a similar one a couple years ago, and she just went down from 420 lbs to 190 in a year and a half so I got her one, knowing that if the Lg doesn't fit, I can return it for an XL, but she would soon fit in it, anyway cause she is still losing weight. Turns out I got exactly the right size. She wears it every night while we sit on the couch in front of the fire watching Perry Mason reruns on the big screen. Warm, and fluffy stuffy ruffly muffly, as she says. Well made, functional pockets, thick and heavy. Good price for what you get. Perfect length for her at 5'7", too. A short shortie would need to hem it up a bit or try to get by with a smaller size. This won't fit right out of the box for a short chubby girl as this is truly a full length robe.

So soft, comfy and plush! Be sure to wash before wearing. Bought to replace my old Lands End robe which had gotten disgusting and discolored.This one is much cheaper and better quality. Love it!!!

Got this for my 5'2" wife - length was to her knees. Thick and comfortable, seems well built. She really liked it.

But here's the kicker—it's not as cozy as you'd think.Sure, it's made of 100% Turkish cotton, which sounds super fancy, but the thickness kind of kills the vibe. It feels more like wearing a heavy blanket than a comfy robe. And the texture? Not exactly soft and snuggly.On the upside, it's absorbent like nobody's business. Seriously, you could probably dry off a small lake with this thing. And the unisex design is a nice touch if you're into sharing your robe with your significant other.But if you're all about that plush, cloud-like comfort, you might want to pass on this one. It's more "burdened by fabric" than "wrapped in luxury."
