Structurally superior
This is avery well constructed piece. I had recently bought the 2 piece kit and the mounting piece was structurally sound but the clips and the top shield was not. All the clips and the top piece broke at installation. I bought this product and I could tell the material was 100% structurally superior. This piece went right on and clipped into place with ease. If you have to do this reuse the factory clips or buy more.

Absolute perfection in fit and quality! Everything lined up just like OEM. I've been waiting since November 2024 to have Ford do the recall for these. They came in lightning quick and were easy to install. Took maybe an hour? Including prep and clean up from my disaster. Just be gentle when you go to snap the pillars into the mounting frame, it's super snug.

Not sitting properly and blew off during drive
It looks good at a first glance but it’s not sitting properly. It’s not sturdy enough and the connection points are not that great.Maybe glue would help to keep it in place.I had it on my car for 2 weeks and it blew off on the highway. The first set I received had some broken connectors and the second one is now gone and I can’t even return it.This is something to keep in mind that you might have to purchase it more often or go with original parts.

Didn't fit all that well and ended up cracked!
The pillar windshield molding was a bit tricky to install. It didn’t line up perfectly, and when I tried pressing it down to engage the plastic holders, the entire piece cracked under minimal pressure. I had no choice but to leave it in place, as removing it would have completely destroyed the molding. It’s frustrating that Ford chose to use such flimsy plastic on a 2012 Explorer—definitely a design flaw that could have been improved.

Good
The part over all looked good I think it's worth the money saying that I do believe that they are a little too fragile mine cracked while installing on the vehicle just from me pressing on it

Easy installation, great fit!
Quick shipping, no broken parts. It was pretty easy to install. Each side of the windshield trim is two pieces, a base plate and the cover. I replaced the base plate, removed the tape strip covering the adhesive strip on the back of the cover, let the cover warm briefly above the shop stove (it was 30 degrees F), and snapped it in place. Like other comments, started at the bottom and had to gently push the top over to get the top tab to click into place.
