Wanted an easy slip-on nightie that will keep me warm enough as the nights draw in without making me sweat like a cow (loving the menopause!). Looked absolutely everywhere for the right thing but I'm not paying half a million £££ to some fancy niche boutique that specialises in taking money off middle aged women with hormone heebie-jeebies. This is an absolute find, though - I'm 165 tall (5ft5) and a pearshaped size 16, quite wide up top but not big busted, and even after a 40 degree wash and hot tumble-dry, the XL still hangs comfortably loose and comes to the knee. It did shrink about a 2-3 cm in length, but not as much as I had worried. And it makes you look quite cute, not like you accidentally fell into a bin bag. Have ordered a second black. Shame it doesn't come in bright red, the husband would have liked that, I think.

Nice, soft, very fine jersey knit material which hangs beautfully, but I was looking for a very silky finish so that and similar cotton jersey knit fabrics worn on top dont 'stick'.The sizing is accurate, you don't really need to order up, unless you want a little extra length. I did order one size bigger because I'm pear shaped, I was afraid a M might be a bit tight around hips, but l didn't need to... the material is very stretchy and has lot of give, but also hangs and drapes if you don't fill it. (I found exactly what I was looking for in M&S lingerie, midi length, which I really wanted and black)I liked the pretty and versatile pale peach colour. It would make a very nice summer nightie. (But returned it as I already have 3)

I'll start this review by saying this is NOT a silky slip and it's definitely not sheer which I'm kind of glad about. It's a very soft feel cotton, almost brushed slightly which is very easy to wear and comfortable. I'm just hitting that age where overheating, especially at night, is becoming a problem so even wearing a T-shirt is too hot! This is perfect to wear in bed as doesn't stick to you and is very soft. I'd recommend especially for us women of a certain age!! EDIT: This is NOT knee length if you're tall! I'm 6ft and it comes to mid thigh on me so I'd class it as short... but I'm used to things being short on me... I'm sure it's fine for the average woman. One day I might strike lucky! :D

The product fit was lovely. I am a size 12. I’m 5’3” (1.6m) it comes below knees. But it has side slits so not too granny. I had the navel blue which looks elegant and the straps are adjustable. It washed beautifully but I did not tumble dry it. I put it on a hanger and steamed it to get any wrinkles out. There weren’t many.

Soft, slightly stretchy fabric that is perfect for sleeping in warmer weather. I am a size 10 and 5'5 and the size M fits me perfectly. The adjustable spaghetti straps are a nice touch too. I also find this gown to be the perfect length at just above the knee. Such a pretty colour too in Beige - pink tone.

I originally ordered the size M as I'm size 14 but it was too tight. Returned it free of charge & almost immediately got a refund. Then ordered 2 of the L size & they fit beautifully. They are so comfortable & silky to wear & very cool on hot nights. Would certainly order again. They arrived quickly so I'm impressed with the service given.

Fits really well and I am average in size and length is spot on for my height { knee length}. Love the colour as well.Great value.

I bought a dress that ended up being way to sheer, but I didn’t want to part with it. So I found this as a solution and it worked great. Now I can wear my dress and I don’t feel like everybody can see everything underneath! The sizing fit as expected and it didn’t stick to my dress or tights. Would definitely buy again.
