Catwoman of East End Omnibus

Only just started reading (20%)but it’s hard to put down. The stories are wonderful, good drama and great sense of humour while still covering the serious side of humanity too! As an artist myself I LOVE the artwork! I’ve flipped through the entire book just to see all the styles of artwork. The styles suit the stories and environment is well established not just the characters. Each page has a well planned layout. It really is stunning! Highly recommend this omnibus!Well labelled crediting-correct individual comics with numbers are listed clearly in table of contents.We own boxes of comics and have some early editions too but for pleasure reading this is one of my favourites already!

The omnibus format has pros and cons, this particular omnibus is excellent. It is great having everything in one volume, especially the Darwyn Cooke stuff. Omnibus' can be hard to read because of the size and weight, however sitting at a table solves that challenge. It can sometimes be frustrating to try and see the art near the spine since there are so many pages and they do not lay flat, that is a minor critique of an otherwise beautiful book. The graphic design of the book is perfect, it looks great and feels great. Worth the price of admission for sure.

De modo geral o livro é interessante e os enredos das estórias bem estruturados. Alguns desenhos parecem muito primitivos e até grosseiros, para o gosto de leitores da linha clássica. Mas que fazer, são modernos em sua concepção gráfica

Je mets 5 pour le produit car'le run de Brubaker est excellent mais je mets 0 à Amazon.Je n'en peux plus de leur emballage (si on peut meme appeler ça comme ça). Des livres de valeurs qui arrivent carton et plastique craqués avec des dust jacket dechirées et des coins fracassés. Ça devient trop.Je ne suis pas le genre a me plaindre et à laisser des commentaires mais la ça devient du foutage de g*****.Derniere fois que je commande des livres ici
