This is a great set for someone who is just starting with makeup. This is not a set for people experienced in makeup because you’ll be disappointed in the quality.I didn’t have high expectations. With sets like these, they usually aren’t the best quality. But, for anyone who is just starting, especially if it’s a young child who has no experience on makeup. Of course, with makeup that isn’t the best quality, they can be hard to blend, but I don’t see that really being an issue with someone just starting out in makeup. They won’t be doing anything too advanced, so a basic set will work as a starting set.This has everything you’d want in a starter set:Makeup brushes - 3 face and 2 eye. The handles feel like wood. These are VERY poor, cheap quality. As soon as I took them out, the ferrules were already loose on some. I was able to twist them and push them, so they seem tightened, but I don’t see them lasting long. The bristles are soft. The face brushes the bristles seem cut mostly even, but there are a few that are longer. The 2 eye brushes the bristles are cut extremely unevenly. They shed a lot.Eyeliner (sealed in plastic wrapping). It’s a pencil, needs sharpened. In black. It isn’t very pigmented. I did a photo showing swatches. The top line was the first line I drew with it. The middle line was the second and I went over it a few times. The bottom line I went over quite a few times.Brow pencil. There’s no color listed, but it’s brown. Angled tip. It twists up. There’s a spoolie on the other end. I did a photo of a swatch. It seems to match the brow pencil. It’s waxy and not very pigmented. You need to press too hard for my liking to get pigment.Brow gel. Again, no color listed, looks like a medium brown color. (In its own product box). I did a photo showing a swatch. It looks like it matches the brow pencil.Waterproof mascara (sealed in plastic wrapping)3 colored matte lip creams (each sealed in plastic wrapping)1 clear chapstick4 lipsticks (each in their own product boxes)A pack of little cotton squares3 reusable eyebrow stencils1 bottle of foundation (no outer wrapping/box). It looked like it would be dispensed with a dropper, but ended up having a doe foot applicator. It’s a lighter shade - I’d say light to medium. The bottom of the bottle says, “03,” and the bottom of the concealer says, “FC03,” so I guess they’re SUPPOSED to be the same color, even though the concealer looks a lot darker. I did swatches to show the colors next to each other. For this, I did a swatch with the doe foot applicator, then I dabbed some on and blended it out a little. It’s very thick, but creamy. I took 2 photos of the swatch - one immediately after and 1 that was 5 min after. It does darken a bit when it dries.1 jar of concealer (in its own product box). It’s a pretty dark shade, for my pale skin. I’d say it’s medium or medium to dark. Interesting it’s so dark given the foundation shade is a lot lighter. The bottom of the jar says it’s “FC03,” and the bottom of the foundation says it’s “03,” so I guess they’re SUPPOSED to be the same. But the concealer is definitely darker. You can see in the swatch. It is easy to pick up, pigmented, but a little thick and sticky. I took 2 photos of the swatch - one immediately after and 1 that was 5 min after. It does darken a bit when it dries.1 small makeup sponge1 concealer/color correcting palette (it’s in a plain black plastic palette that has a snap closure. It’s in its own product box).1 eyeshadow palette (it’s a cardboard palette that has a outer cardboard sleeve and it’s sealed in plastic wrapper). It’s small, fits in the pink bag that everything comes in. It has 40 shades. The pans are pretty darn tiny! I normally like swatching a palette, but this one the pans were so darn tiny, I could barely fit the tip of my pinky in it! So, I only swatched a few colors. Like a lot of lower quality eyeshadow, the shimmers weren’t bad. In the swatches, the shimmers are all 1 swipe except for the 2 purples, where I did 2 swipes. The mattes were okay. Not very pigmented, I did 2 layers. But, they built up okay. There’s a lot of kickback. But they feel soft and smooth. They definitely will work for beginners.2 tubes of glitter (I got gold and purple, not sure if it’s random colors or always the same).See through pink zipper bag it all comes inOverall, this is an okay set. It’s perfect for beginners to get a full face. Like I said, it isn’t the best quality but it will work for a beginner who is just starting with makeup and doesn’t have anything and doesn’t have any experience. Beyond that, I don’t think this set would work for someone who had any experience. They’d be disappointed in the quality.

Wow! Such an extensive makeup starter kit!! It comes with a variety of make up and accessories including a make up bag, brushes, concealer, foundation, eyeshadow, brow and lip wear, highlighter, and so much more. It would make a great gift for someone experimenting with products.
