Garcima11-inch Carbon Steel Paella Pan, 28cm

It's carbon steel...so it needs to be handled carefully. One cannot simply wash and let air dry or even hand dry. One needs to hand dry and then put on the stove to heat up and drive off any lingering moisture. Finally, one needs to coat again in oil to protect against rusting. If you are comfortable around cast iron, then this is very similar. The pan performed really well. Heats fast and cools fast. I got the 11 inch model which is enough for two-people.The only downside is that the pan edge is rolled so, if during washing any water gets under the roll, you will not be able to dry unless you heat the pan afterwards, which you would do anyway if you are good with carbon steel or cast iron. discolored quickly , warped ... no good at all

there was no instruction come w/ d'pan.found 1 online & followed through.it works ok, however the quality of pan not as expected 4price we paid.compare matfer we bought months ago, this garcima paella pan is let down.this garcima paella pan remind me of my mom's cookie sheet pan, flimsy,causing foods burn easily during saute, good thing learn tricks fr late mom,cover the pan on last steps, so rice won't burn & stuck badly,plus how2seasoning found via youtube much more effectivegetg rid of metal taste than instruction fr garcima, online.

Honestly, the appearance and positive reviews triggered my purchase.... thats where it ended.... Although it looks great (probably hanging on a wall) if your serious about making Paella, pass this product by. It simply does not conduct heat evenly! The material is to thin for today's cooking surfaces. When heat is applied, it immediately warps and will not lay flat no matter what. Do yourself a favor and skip it.

Signs of rust from washing after first use, despite immediate drying and rubbing with oil. Made a decent paella, though!

Very good product for the price

Al ser una paella de metal, cuesta mucho curarla, pero una vez hecho eso, funciona perfectamente. Es muy ligera y de buen tamaño para dos raciones. Hay que tener cuidado porque se calienta bastante pero para el precio que pagué es un buen producto. Eso sí, hay que aceitarla bien antes de guardarla y siempre secarla bien tras lavarla, ya que el metal se oxida rápido. El paquete llegó a tiempo y en buen estado.

La verdad es que cuando lei las reseñas es cuando me decidí comprarla sabiendo que era el producto que buscaba y la verdad es que no ha defraudado. Por el momento he hecho un solo arroz que ha salido divino. Esta es el tipo de paellera que hay que usar y el color "oxidado", como comentan micho por aqui es perfectamente normal y es lo que hace que el arroz salga tan bueno!! La paellera tiene que la arse a mano y untarla con aceite de oliva.El único que ha entendido como funciona y es alucinante que un belga le diga a un español como funciona una paellera!!😂😂

Producto totalmente inadecuado y de pésima calidad.Lo recibí un lunes, sin utilizar y lógicamente por higiene lo lavé en lavavajillas, al abrir el lavavajillas después de finalizar el lavado aparece la paellera totalmente oxidada como se aprecia en las fotografías.Según respuesta del vendedor "el comprador no ha actuado con cuidado razonable".Razonable es que por malo que sea el acero pulido no se oxide tras un lavado, no es hierro, según la descripción es acero pulido. Tampoco he visto "no apto para lavavajillas"Si es necesario lavar a mano como hace 25 años después de hacer una paella,frotar y frotar...Imaginemos toda una vajilla con esta calidad y lavando a mano...No encuentro reseña donde nos indique expresamente "lavar a mano, en caso contrario se daña".Según el vendedor debo secarla con papel/paño. Repito, como en tiempos ancestrales.Por cierto, mi lavavajillas Siemmens no finaliza los programas de lavado con la vajilla mojada/con agua.Sencillamente producto de mala calidad y sino ya sabes...lava a mano y seca a mano.El error debe ser mío por comprar un "producto vintage"
