We drive a Honda Civic and have a Yakima roof rack with two bike trays, and were looking for a smaller "soft side" carrier to fit into this space. This cargo carrier fit nicely inside this space and appears easily adaptable to spaces that are not exactly 34" by 34". The carrier material is sturdy and coated on the inside with a PVC coating. The zipper is a double pull zipper, which is nice because it can be adjusted to open from one side for easy access to the contents inside. The straps are long - almost too long, in fact, so we may end up cutting off the excess strap material. The carrier is advertised as water resistant and not waterproof, and so our plan is to primarily use the carrier for things that we don't mind getting wet, and then pack other items inside a garbage bag first before putting them inside the carrier. We used the carrier for the first time this past weekend on a camping trip and it worked great! We put our folding chairs inside, along with some Thermarest pads and pillows. We drove at speeds up to 70 mph and did not notice any more noise than what we usually hear with the roof rack. We did manage to drive through a TREMENDOUS rainstorm lasting 10-15 minutes. Some of the contents inside the carrier did get a bit damp, but the pillows that were stored in a garbage bag were completely dry. Overall, we are very happy with this product and would highly recommend it!!

Came promptly before projected arrival date. A lot of roof top cargo bags are more expensive, and larger, but this was just the size I needed for my compact car (Kia Spectra). Although the ad and the package say for use ONLY with cars that have roof top bars, I knew from experience with other roof top products I had purchased over the years, I could attach the four straps to the four inside grab-handles, and close the doors over the straps. It worked great that way. I took it on a 600 mile trip through western NM and eastern AZ. Got rained on. It is advertised as "weather resistant" and not "water proof" which is accurate. A tiny amount of water leaked in, but I always put wet-sensitive items, like sleeping bags, in big black garbage bags. I have other roof top carriers for two larger vehicles I own, a Forester and a Durango. I have always used the garbage bag precaution all these years, and recommend other purchasers do the same.

Thanks to this cargo bag, we were able to successfully move to another state in only a Honda Civic. It's smaller than it looks and I wish it had something to help it keep shape if you put lumpy stuff in it (i.e. vacuum bags full of clothes). We were also happy to find, despite the instructions advising us against it, that it sat nicely and stayed securely on a roof without a rack. We attached the sides across from each other by weaving them into the windows and tying them with really strong material and good knots. Woohoo!

The cargo bag lasted 100% on a round trip from San Antonio TX to Nashville Tennessee! Buckles are tight and easy to adjust. The material lasted through a small storm that we went through with nothing getting wet. Great product!

after one day of driving at highway speeds the entire lining of the carrier is shot. so it will never keep out any moisture at all now. this unit was purchased specifically because it size allowed ti to fit our rooftop rack. regretfully, i cannot recommend this unit at all.

I used this on top of my 2019 Chrysler Pacifica with roof rails. it was easy to put on with a stool for me (I'm 5'3"). It rained and I don't believe anything got wet, but I only stored outdoor items just in case. This fit 5 boogie boards, several rafts, and some small bag chairs.

I bought it for our trip to North Carolina last December and works perfect on my Outback SUBARU!!!

Just what I needed. I haven't tried it but I will next weekend. Hope everything will be OK. It arrived on time and it was the same as the description. The photos in the package are not exactly as the product looks like but I don't think it will cause performance issues is just the position of the logo

We used this product for our latest trip. It started leaking with the first rain. It's also difficult to assembly.

Its not water proof at all
