Worked perfectly for what I needed it for. Installed on a Polaris Rzr to keep in touch with my other riding crew, will pickup about 2miles away depending on terrain of course.

Great well built antenna. Trim to any length you need. Can’t go wrong especially for the price.

Needed something low profile for 1.25m ham band. Just tuned it to 222Mhz and made a contact to a repeater 26 miles out. Had to cut nearly 6 inches off. Came tuned in the 125Mhz range. It says wide band which can confuse some. This is a mono band antenna tunable for a wide range of frequencies.

The description on this product is wrong, and isn't just misleading, it doesn't even match the packaging (shown in the attached image). The model number is right, and it is an NMO mount, but everything else in the title and description are wrong.The antenna isn't wide-band -- it's meant for a single band. And it's meant to be used between 132 and 512 MHz, not 136-940 MHz. You're supposed to cut it to length based on the frequency band you'll be using. It includes a chart so you can know where to cut it (shown in the attached image).I have no idea where the "136-940 MHz" in the item title came from. It's just wrong.

Installed this on my roof rack, attached to a Uniden Beartracker scanner. So far it has performed wonderfully. Every channel that we are in range of gets picked up clearly. Would recommend for mobile scanners!
