Gorilla Automotive 61147CX Chrome 13/16" (14mm x 1.50 Thread Size) Hex Lug Nut (5)

I ordered these Gorilla 61147CX lug nuts on a roll-of-the-dice guess (based on Amazon’s photo of the actual lug nut) that I would get the Gorilla 61148CX that matched lugs I purchased 6 years ago. I guessed correctly as far as the part number stamped on the nut. However, the design did in fact change ever so slightly. The dome is a little more pronounced on this new design rev. This may not matter to 99.9% of anyone reading these reviews, but it would’ve helped me if I had this info... so this one’s for you ‘7-days-ago’ me... For everyone else, I attached a photo of the 6 year old lugs and the new ones. They held up fantastically!

I have rotated tires on my 2016 Mustang GT twice. About halve of the stock lug nut had to be rethreaded on the lug to remove from lug wrench. Some lug nuts I had to beat a smaller sized socket on the factory lug nuts. Ordered Gorilla Automotive lug nuts, 4 locking, (96641DX), The other lug nuts were Gorilla Automotive (61147CX Chrome) 13/16". Save yourself the headaches of trying to change a flat tire on the side of the road, replace your Ford factory lug nuts now.

These are a great replacement lugs for dodge/Chrysler which are cheap aluminum capped nuts that are crap I took my wheels off 3 times before the stock oem ones fell apart. :/ These are forged one piece steel Chrome plated lugs. The threads go all the way to the end of the lug making them much safer. They are little taller than stock lugs and have a round flat part on the top. If you want lugs that look exactly like stock one get these ones 66147dx i.e. No round spot on the top. Way cheaper then dealer lugs which are 10.00 ea. So 200.00 for twenty! My car is a 2011 Chrysler 300c RWD these fit charger/callangers to 2005-2015 not sure about anything newer.

Great product, looks much better, and way better quality than the OEM that came on my S550 Mustang, saw a You Tube video showing how the two piece OEM Lug nuts just fall apart. After replacing I noticed that after just one time taking the OEM nuts they were coming apart. This is a must if you detail the rotors or make a lot of tire changes. Local Ford Dealership even admitted that the Lug Nuts were a known issue!!!

Relatively pricey, but worth the extra amount compared to original Chrysler product. These look better than the two-piece nuts that failed on my Magnum (the outer piece distorted and slipped on the inner piece). I anticipate that will not be the case with these. The part that contacts the front of the wheel is shaped like the original, much different than the 61147 part (without "CX").

Excellent quality. You can tell how well made these are compared to my factory Ford lug nuts for my mustang. Those cheap 2 piece lugs started to warp, but the Gorilla lugs are solid due to the one piece design.

If you own a Dodge Challenger with the 20" chrome rims, you need these lug nuts. OEM lug nuts are crap and will leave you stranded one day.
