Professional Size D6, Colored Dots Board Game

A well received Christmas gift.

I purchased these for my 4 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old children for 3 purposes. Fine motor skills, game play with easy rules and counting/matching. There are 28 dominos per package (I thought there were 50). We just received and opened them. They are a nice weight, good thickness, good color contrast and have deep dots (I know the dots have a formal name, but I don't know what it is). They stack and stand well. The cases they come in though are cheap, cheap, cheap. Vinyl covered cardboard. One was damaged when it arrived, but for the immediate future will hold them ok. There is a tri-fold pamphlet included with each set explaining the following games: Muggins (straight dominoes), Castle Rock, Forty-Two -Double 6 Set, Moon - Double 6 Set, and Eighty-Four - 2 Double 6 Sets.I would order these again, and am considering 2 more sets so we can make lots of domino lines to knock down. My son is fascinated with making these designs, and up until today we were using Jenga blocks. He is incredibly excited to use the dominoes instead.

These dominoes are professional size and very nice. One thing I love about them is the big, deep dots on them. Very good for the vision. Good price too.I have trouble snapping these cases, and I found a great solution. Years ago on a closeout sale I found an engineering ruler with a bunce of aluminum pieces. I took the connector off and separated them. Slipping one of these into the front of the domino case is just right to make it firm enough to readily snap when pressed.I'm good at making adjustments like these, because I have rheumatoid arthritis, and movements can be difficult for me. So I get creative!Anyway, it's good to have a basic case for the dominoes. And they are very nice dominoes.I also want the color dot version of these dominoes, and Puremco makes them for just $1.00 more. But Amazon doesn't have them!!! Please, Amazon, please add the colored ones to the ones you sell! I really want them!!!

We've had these dominoes for 4 years and they're great. They stand up well and work fine for playing the game. I like the feel of them as well. They were a gift for my then 5 year old and he's turning nine and still playing with them. I knocked off one star for the quality of the case. It's held together just fine, but it doesn't match the quality of the dominoes themselves.

Disappointed 😔It says on a seller description that those Dominos have a Professional Size: 1" x 2" x 3/8" thick.They are not 3/8 thick, they are less.So if you are looking for Professional Dominos with the 3/8 thickness, look for a different set and probably from a different seller.Also the paint quality on those is not good.Sending this set back, unfortunately...

The only attribute of these dominoes which matter is the thickness. Everything else about them is adequate; the dots are easy to see and distinguish and the backs are uniform enough so as not to be "marked". The problem is with the thickness, or rather, the lack of thickness. These dominoes are too thin which causes them to easily fall over if the surface on which they are places is shaken even a little. I would not recommend them for kids or of adults who play on anything but a very stable and solid table/surface.

We like these so much we bought a second set to give as a gift.

Considering that the dominoes that i purchased are for my daughter and I to have a fun game at home now and then, they are perfect for what we wanted.
